What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Coordinator - Quality and Patient Safety LIFE - FT position at Inspira Health Network?
Under the direction of LIFE Director of Quality and Patient Safety, the Compliance Coordinator is responsible for effective operations of the Inspira LIFE (IDT) in compliance with PACE regulations. With extensive understanding of the scope of practice of each interdisciplinary team discipline, collects, examines, analyzes, and reports quality data and quality measures in accordance with Inspira LIFE policies and procedures, all accrediting organizations, and state and federal rules and regulations. Performs quality audits and interacts with members of IDT and participants/caregivers to ensure clinical integrity of the medical record. Enters time-sensitive data into HPMS and Datapace2. Educates members of the Inspira LIFE team on quality improvement methods and techniques. Participates in the Quality Assurance Committee and selected subcommittees as directed.
As a multisite provider of PACE community-based services for seniors in Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties, an Inspira LIFE employee may work at either or both the Vineland or Williamstown LIFE Program as census changes or operational needs occur to meet the needs of our participants.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of an associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
- At least one year of experience working with the frail elderly.
- Prior experience in a PACE organization is highly desirable.
- Two years of quality improvement/compliance experience in a healthcare setting are required.
- Two years of computer experience, preferably working with various software applications, including database management.
Certification/Licensure
- Current active NJ RN license required
Knowledge & skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology is required or experience with electronic medical records. Proficient use of office equipment such as a copier, scanner, printer, and fax.
