What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Clinical Research Trials - Clinical Research - Per Diem - Vineland position at Inspira Health Network?
MAJOR FUNCTION:The Clinical Research Trials Manager manages the initiation and management of industry and government sponsored national drug and device trials. The Clinical Research Manager oversees the recruitment and enrollment of patients into clinical trials, this includes potential clinical trial patients, as well those patients' considering participation in a clinical trial, enrolled in a clinical trial, or who have completed active protocol treatment. Directly interacts with patients/human subjects and family members with regards to clinical research. The Clinical Research Manager works closely with sponsor representatives, physicians serving as investigators, and ancillary staff throughout Inspira Health. They also order tests as indicated per protocol and track study finances. The role consists of four main areas of responsibility: care manager, educator, collaborator and researcher.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- Graduate of an approved RN nursing program, BSN required.
- MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of acute care nursing experience.
- Experience in clinical research preferred.
- Experience in a leadership role (charge nurse/resource nurse, shared governance or committee leader, etc.) preferred.
- Must have experience in oncology nursing.
Certification/Licensure:
- Licensed as a registered nurse in NJ.
- Current CPR Certification.
