What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, IS Asset - Information Systems, Bridgeton position at Inspira Health Network?
MAJOR FUNCTION:
The IT Asset Manager manages, controls, and protects the organization’s IT assets (i.e.., hardware and software) throughout their life cycles, from acquisition through final disposition. In addition, the IT Asset Manager designs, develops, and implements the organization’s asset management strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience in managing IT assets.
- 2 years of experience in IT asset management, procurement, or related roles.
- Experience in developing business cases, conducting vendor negotiations, and managing vendor relationships.
Certification/ Licensure:
- ITAM preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of IT technologies, including hardware, software, networking equipment, and licensing.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong budgeting skills and the ability to make informed decisions regarding fund allocation.
