Job Description
MAJOR FUNCTION :
Responsible on a 24-hour basis for a nursing unit at one location. Serves as lead nurse for care coordination, which includes daily assignments of staff, and utilizing nursing resources, effective delivery of care to patients and execution of patient plans of care. May serve as a house supervisor as needed after completing training and competency.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education & Experience :
- Baccalaureate Degree or actively pursing one.
- At least three years of progressive experience as staff nurse or charge nurse in Surgical Services, M / S, OB, Peds, or ER as appropriate
