Job Description
MAJOR FUNCTION :
Performs the manual technical tasks involved with the proper storage, distribution, packaging and labeling of drugs, obtaining patient's clinical and prescription plan coverage information, review of new and / or refill prescription, associated record keeping and patient charging systems. Works under the direct supervision and control of a Registered Pharmacist. Follows proper procedures for the operation of equipment and use of supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education & Experience :
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Retail Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
