Airon Corporation, a global leader in life support ventilators and medical accessories, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller and Site Manager to lead our financial and operational functions at our Melbourne, Florida facility. This senior-level role requires strong expertise in financial reporting, financial planning, and site leadership within a manufacturing environment. As the ideal candidate, you will bring extensive accounting experience, a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, and hold a CPA or CMA certification. You will be responsible for managing the site’s multifunctional team, including Customer Support, QARA, and Operations while driving financial planning and reporting, performance optimization, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Lead and execute comprehensive financial planning and analysis.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to drive business decisions.
- Analyze KPIs and variances, providing strategic insights to senior management.
Financial Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Group requirements and local regulatory standards.
- Present financial performance to executive leadership with actionable recommendations.
Cost Control and Optimization:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements.
- Monitor resource allocation and implement cost-control measures.
General Ledger and Accounting Functions
- Manage general ledger integrity, fixed assets, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Operational Leadership (Site Manager Responsibilities)
- Lead multifunctional teams (Customer Support, QARA, Operations) to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Manage recruitment and workforce development in collaboration with the Group People Team.
- Ensure site compliance with local and legal regulations, including health and safety guidelines.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure seamless operations.
Strategic Leadership
- Ensure the site meets operational targets, focusing on production targets, working capital , and cash flow management.
- Lead the transition from stand-alone systems to a Group ERP environment in partnership with the Group IT Team.
- Represent the site at the HQ level, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and operational strategies.
Mandatory:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience (including cost accounting).
- Experience with a Tier 1 or 2 ERP system.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong analytical skills.
Desirable:
- CPA or CMA certification (preferred).
- Experience in the medical/regulated industry (including manufacturing).
