What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Shared Services Finance position at Inspire Brands?
As Inspire Brands transforms into a dominant multi-brand global restaurant company, the development of a mature Shared Services organization is pivotal. This exciting role will lead critical Financial Planning and Analytical support to all Shared Services functions. This support includes not just financial planning activities such as executing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly reporting, but also acting as a true Finance Business Partner to the organization. Ensuring our Shared Services leaders have the information and guidance they need to be successful is our aim as Finance Business Partners, and this role plays a critical part in bringing that to life.
This role sits onsite 4-5 days per week in our Atlanta Support Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Business Partnership: Collaborate with five Shared Services executives and their leadership teams to manage their G&A expenses, driving excellence in annual planning, quarterly forecasting, monthly reporting, and ad-hoc analyses. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables while implementing innovative process enhancements and advanced tools to optimize financial operations.
- Drive Business Performance: Deliver actionable recommendations to improve performance, drive efficiency, and uncover opportunities for cost optimization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Commercial and IT Finance teams to lead Shared Services FP&A activities. Develop comprehensive business summaries and deliver insightful commentaries on monthly and quarterly bridges for both gross G&A and net G&A.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and financial discipline by leading initiatives to improve processes, enhance spend effectiveness, and identify quantifiable savings opportunities. Strategically align resources to deliver measurable synergies and elevate organizational capabilities.
- Leadership and Talent Development: Direct and mentor a Financial Analyst, providing guidance on employee development, performance management, and career progression. Oversee the delivery of high-quality outputs, project execution, and alignment with organizational goals through effective leadership and communication.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting and / or CPA
- Required: 5 years of experience in Planning and Analysis or similar supervisory experience in Finance
- Preferred: 2 years of experience as a finance business partner in a global matrixed organization
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
- Strong track record as a proven team player
- Strong executive presence with excellent analytical and communication skills
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong finance, project / capital assessment, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage self and others with competing priorities, often with considerable time constraints
- Strongly preferred: Experience with Oracle Enterprise Planning and Reporting software, including Hyperion Planning/EPBCS/SmartView, or similar
- Strongly preferred: Experience with Business Intelligence analysis and presentation tools, including Power BI and SharePoint
