As a Supply Chain Quality Assurance (QA) Intern at Inspire Brands, you’ll gain hands-on experience in ensuring quality and compliance within our supply chain operations. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals, learn essential QA practices, and contribute to the success of some of the world’s most iconic restaurant brands, including Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic Drive-In, Dunkin’, and Jimmy John’s.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Audits: Assist in conducting quality audits for suppliers and distribution centers to ensure compliance with Inspire Brands’ standards.
- Product Testing: Support the team in testing and inspecting products to verify quality and safety, ensuring consistency across various suppliers.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data on product quality issues and work with the team to recommend improvements.
- Supplier Compliance: Help monitor supplier performance and compliance with regulatory and internal standards, including documentation review and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain QA processes and suggest methods to enhance efficiency and quality control.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, and compliance reports to support QA processes and initiatives.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects that align with broader supply chain quality and operational goals, providing support to both individual and team objectives.
- Product Traceability. Assist in building, onboarding and integrating our OneInspire GS1-128 Program.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with QA software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation and reporting.
