Description
- Patient care will be provided at both Hospitals and provider will be the medical director at both facilities. 90% clinical, 10% administration
- $550k annual salary, 150k sign on bonus with 3 year commitment, 25k housing allowance, loan reimbursement annually
JOB SUMMARY:
- Anesthesiologist shall provide services in the practice of Anesthesiology within the policies of the Hospital and with consultation and agreement of the surgeon involved with the care of the patient.
- Provide high quality Anesthesiology services within the Hospital
- Provide anesthesia consultation to inpatients and outpatients
- Provide occasional clinical education to members of the hospital staff
- Follow policies, rules and regulations of the Hospital
- Work within applicable standards of the American Society of Anesthesiologists
- Participate in committees and required meetings and undertake the responsibilities of the member of the Medical Staff
- Provide exceptional patient care
- Reliable attendance and punctuality, including observing appropriate break times and extending a scheduled shift when necessary to meet patient demands
- Performs duties in a safe manner, in compliance with all safety policies and procedures
- Complies with the Code of Conduct and all appropriate policies and procedures
- Other duties that are relevant to the position and department
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Licensed in the State of Maine in the practice of Anesthesiology
- Maintain current federal DEA number
- 10 or more years experience providing anesthesia in acute care setting
- Skill and experience with full range of anesthesia methods
Salary : $550,000
