We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join our team at one of our facilities. As a member of our staff, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services, including direct patient care, in accordance with applicable federal and state statutes and regulations.
- Perform practice duties, adhering to Medical Staff Bylaws/Rules and Regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Be responsible to the Medical Staff Committee(s) and MEC regarding clinical requirements and reports to the Vice President-Finance regarding administrative responsibilities.
- Leverage a 25-bed medical facility with 15 active-staff board-certified physicians, utilizing Critical Access Hospital status granted in 2004.
- Serve as the fourth largest employer in Beadle County, employing more than 300 full- and part-time employees.
- Patient base serves a population of over 37,000 in seven counties in eastern-central South Dakota.
Qualifications
- Hold a degree in MD/DO.
- Meet the requirement of being Board Eligible or Certified.
- Hold an active SD license and federal narcotics licensure.
