Setting the Scene:
As our Admissions Coordinator, you'll be the director behind the scenes, coordinating with patients, families, and referral sources to ensure every new admission is as smooth as possible. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team, ensuring all documentation, insurance verifications, and intake processes are handled with precision and care. You'll provide education to patients and their families about what hospice services entail and offer emotional support throughout the admissions process. You'll work closely with the Hospice Director to ensures efficient and appropriate use of resources, managing evaluation and admission assignments based on needs and resources. You'll act urgently to address and resolve any issues that arise during the admissions process, ensuring timely care and service to eligible hospice referrals. With your attention to detail and dedication to service, you'll help make the transition into Inspire Hospice's care a positive and reassuring experience. This position is scheduled to typically work Monday through Friday from 8a-5p, with occasional evening/weekend assistance as needed.
