Inspire Learning and Childcare is a leading provider of high-quality early childhood education and childcare in the Penfield, Brockport and Pittsford areas. We are dedicated to creating safe, engaging and nurturing environments that foster growth and learning for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Position
Inspire is seeking a Regional Director to oversee multiple daycare centers in the Penfield, Brockport and Pittsford areas. The Regional Director will be responsible for managing the operations, compliance, and performance of our daycare centers and their admin team. This requires strong leadership, operational excellence and a passion for early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities as Regional Director
- Oversee the daily operations of our Brockport, Penfield, and Pittsford centers, ensuring high standards and goals are met.
- Provide leadership, coaching and professional development for our admin team and staff.
- Ensure compliance with NYS OCFS regulations in all locations
- Monitor enrollment growth, revenue, and expenses in all locations
- Oversee recruitment and hiring process for all locations to ensure high-quality talent and retention of staff.
- Maintain strong relationships with families, staff and the community in all locations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture across all centers
- Crisis, emergency, and operational management
- Address and resolve any issues related to staffing, compliance, and parent concerns.
- Conduct monthly walkthroughs and visits to all three locations to ensure compliance including center presentation, staff moral, and maintenance needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelors or master’s degree in early childhood education or related field that meets OCFS standards to being on a license at a licensed daycare.
- 3 years of leadership experience in childcare or a multi-site management role
- Strong knowledge of NYS OCFS regulations and licensing procedures
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop a strong team
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
