OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

• Provide cyber security technical leadership for new products as well as changes to existing products with a focus on Inspire’s cloud systems and digital products
• Lead threat modeling, security reviews, and assessments
• Lead and mentor software and security engineers
• Engage in security architecture, design, and code assessments to ensure designs meet or exceed implementation, testing, scalability, and maintainability best practice guidelines
• Translate the technical findings from security assessments into relevant, actionable information for development teams
• Lead product risk management activities in compliance with ISO 14971, TIR57 and TIR97
• Ensure all quality system, regulatory, legal, and business requirements are met in the course of product development and market delivery
• Support Inspire customers as required

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent experience
• 5 years of similar experience, including cloud and mobile product development experience
• Demonstrated understanding of system security principles, including threat modeling and risk management processes
• Broad knowledge of a wide range of cloud system and mobile apps and a deep understanding of the inherent security risks associated with these technologies
• Experience implementing security mitigations using cryptographically strong security primitives such as AES and ECC
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
• Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced level degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Medical device experience
• Cloud platform (AWS, Google, Microsoft) experience
• C# development experience for desktop and Azure platforms
• iOS and Android development experience
• Azure PaaS deployment experience
