We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Aftercare Teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children after school. This role requires someone who is passionate about working with children, committed to their well-being, and able to facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, and academic development. The ideal candidate should be dependable, patient, and enthusiastic, with a love for fostering positive relationships with children.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and Ensure Safety : Monitor children closely, ensuring their safety and well-being during aftercare hours.
- Facilitate Activities : Plan and lead fun, educational, and creative activities, including arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, and homework assistance.
- Assist with Homework : Provide support and guidance as needed to help children with their homework assignments.
- Maintain a Positive Environment : Create an inclusive, respectful, and supportive atmosphere where children feel valued and comfortable.
- Communicate with Parents : Update parents on their child's day, behavior, and any important concerns or achievements.
- Collaborate with Staff : Work with other aftercare teachers and school staff to ensure a consistent and cohesive aftercare experience for all children.
- Enforce Rules and Expectations : Help children understand and follow the rules, ensuring that all children behave in a respectful and appropriate manner.
