We are seeking an exceptional Preschool Director to lead our private-pay preschool and DOE UPK program. Responsibilities:
Lead the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a fun, safe, and educational environment that exceeds expectations.
Manage, support, and motivate a team of teachers and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and growth.
Implement Creactive Curriculum which supports the developmental needs of young children while encouraging creativity and critical thinking.
Ensure full compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing clear communication on children's progress and fostering a partnership in their development.
Oversee enrollment processes and maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
Manage the school’s budget effectively and creatively, ensuring resources are used efficiently to benefit the students and staff.
Coordinate and lead staff meetings, professional development, and performance evaluations, encouraging continuous improvement.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, supply management, and maintaining facility standards.
Implement and oversee the DOE UPK program, ensuring that all activities align with state standards and foster a strong foundation for each child’s growth. You will work with the DOE.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

A strong, capable leader who can inspire and guide a team to work together toward a common vision and grow an outstanding preschool site.
A problem-solver with the ability to think outside the box and approach challenges with flexibility and ingenuity.
Experienced in early childhood education, with at least 2-4 years in a leadership role and a deep understanding of early childhood development.
Equipped with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Knowledgeable about the DOE UPKJ program and committed to exceeding state standards.
Passionate about creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment for children, teachers, and families alike.
- Having Experience with Procare and Intellikikds is a plus but not a requirement.
