In this role, you will play an essential part in creating a positive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children ages 3 to 5. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to inspire young minds, foster their social and emotional development, and lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. This is a UPK classroom for Stafford Township via Happy Days II.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote literacy education.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities and play-based learning.
- Assess and monitor children's progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning at home.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including special education needs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
- Incorporate Montessori principles into daily activities to promote independence and self-directed learning.
