Accountant - Full Time Remote

Inspired HomeCare is a young, growing home healthcare company with operations and support services in four states. We are seeking a proven self-starter to serve as Accountant, coordinating day-to-day accounting and financial reporting.

This role will independently maintain the general ledger, reconcile to subledgers, and report monthly results. Oversight of accounts payable and coordination with the revenue cycle team present opportunities to demonstrate your leadership skills. You will interact with representatives from our vendors, branch offices, and the executive team to contribute to the company's overall efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities And Duties

• Full cycle accounting, including responsibility for accurate accounts payable and payroll, general journal entries, and month end close for multiple entities
• Preparation and thorough understanding of full suite of financial statements and supporting schedules
• Analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting
• Minimum three years' experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting
• Proven ability to think critically and solve problems independently
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Computer literate with an aptitude to learn new software programs
• Advanced Excel skills
• Keen attention to detail
  
  

Strongly Desired

• Recent Home Health finance experience, to include knowledge of PDGM reimbursement
• Experience working with HCHB and WellSky/Kinnser EMRs
• Knowledge of Sage, Excel, GL, AP and Critical thinking skills
