The Role: Business Development Manager (NYC Metro)
We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to lead growth efforts in the New York City Metro region. This is a high-impact, client-facing sales role focused on identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within corporate, luxury, and high-profile industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition: Proactively prospect and close new business with large corporate clients, luxury hospitality groups, and other high-value targets.
- Market Knowledge: Leverage deep understanding of the NYC business environment to identify high-opportunity industries and key stakeholders.
- Consultative Sales: Position the client’s offering as the premium, sustainable choice through tailored, value-based selling.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong, long-term relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
- Revenue Growth: Consistently exceed sales targets by driving expansion and capturing new market share.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the brand at key industry events, expos, and networking functions.
- Data-Driven Selling: Use CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator) to track leads, performance, and insights.
What We’re Looking For:
- A true “hunter” who thrives on developing new business from the ground up.
- Experience selling high-end or luxury solutions, preferably in corporate or hospitality settings.
- A strong network in the NYC market across sectors like real estate, hospitality, and corporate services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Technologically proficient, especially with CRM systems and prospecting tools.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-end B2B sales or business development.
- Prior success selling premium products or sustainability-focused solutions to senior-level buyers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
- Industry experience in wellness, hospitality, or food & beverage is an asset.
