Quality Assurance Specialist

Inspiring Lives, in Fayette, Iowa, is seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Specialist!

The Quality Assurance Specialist gathers, tracks, and organizes quality improvement documentation to measure and evaluate Inspiring Lives' programs and identify training needs.

Responsibilities:

• Request, track, organize, and store all quality improvement for the agency.
• Develop spreadsheets and other handouts based on data submitted.
• Develop presentation based on information gathered.
• Conducts audits of files ensuring documentation includes necessary information in order to meet billing standards.
• Assist with filing, copying, and other clerical duties.
• Implement and maintain a system to organize documentation, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Develop strategic plans to rectify indentified issues.
• Develop quarterly reports based on data gathered.
• Implement and communicate progress of QA strategic plan.
• Work closely with the Training and Development Specialist to identify and address trainings.
• Develop and present the QA report as the Chair of the QA Committee.
• Track and trend client incident reports, reporting information to administration and the Safety/Infection Control committee

Qualifications

• AA in Human Services (or related degree) plus one year of experience with HCBS Services, or
• Three years of experience with HCBS Services, or
• Three years of experience with quality improvement
