Project:
The primary work this role will support is to migrate legacy pages to AEM templated pages. Once migrated, they will then be managed by the incumbent. New page requests will also be made and those will need to be created, as necessary.

The incumbent will be responsible for learning how to build, manage, and maintain pages within AEM that are built on a standard set of components. Learning best practices and how to use our instance of AEM are critical first steps. Working independently, from a list, they will rebuild pages built in legacy formats and "lift and shift them into new templates. They will be responsible for checking their work for QA and in correcting any defects.

Top Requirements:

• Candidate must be experienced authoring pages and websites using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 for a large organization.
• Understanding HTML for troubleshooting and remediation of issues, understanding of A11y (accessibility) principles and best practices.
• Ability to learn processes and adherence to brand guidelines are also key.
• Incumbent must have the ability to work independently, with limited direction, and have skills in time and task management.
• Other necessary skills include ability to adhere to high levels of detail, proofreading, QA (quality assurance) checks, and error remediation.

Tasks:

• Support multiple teams with content authoring in AEM pages using Content Fragments
• Advanced knowledge of AEM best practices such as page property configuration, version control, and DAM asset management
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, content strategists and UX designers to deliver projects
• Resolve defects after QA testing and page reviews with strong understanding of Accessibility concerns
• Educate UX team on AEM best practices during page build and component testing
• Contribute and advocate for web development best practices such as adhering to AEM Style Guide
• Contribute to developing schemas for AEM content fragments based on requirements
• Offer CMS and web development solutions to meet project requirements

Requirements:

• 2 year's experience with AEM
• HTML/CSS
• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.3 - 6.5, WCM, DAM, content fragments)
• Advanced understanding of AEM Authoring Fundamentals
• Web programming principles
• Content management system best practices
• SEO and Accessibility best practices
• Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA considerations
• Basic knowledge of UI design
