Title : IT Technical Writer (Public Sector)Location Options : Las Vegas (Local Remote, some in office)Duration : 60 hours / 2 weeks Compensation : $49-54 / hr. Work Requirements : US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.ROLE : Information Security Policy Documents - Editing and Formatting Edit and reformat MS Word documentsSUMMARY : The Information Security Division is rewriting the policy and procedure pages they are responsible for. We want a tech writer to come in and edit the drafts for clarity and clean up the formatting, so it is ready for final review and publication (matches the department standard and is consistent).TASKS : Phase 1 would be any suggested edits after review. Phase 2 would be formatted policies and procedures ready for publication. Format to be provided.REQUIRED SKILLS : Strong experience in formatting Word documents using header types and number schemes, and in editing policies and procedures for clarity and consistency. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS >
50 WPM typing Experience editing policies and procedures and / or other executive-level business communications OTHER : Can work remotely, however kickoff and initial meetings will be held at the office. >
