Lead Full Stack Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer with expertise in MySQL, Python, PHP, Linux (Ubuntu), AWS DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC). This role offers the opportunity to be a part of an innovative team that builds scalable, efficient, and secure systems. Key Responsibilities:

1. System Development & Maintenance:

   • Design, implement, test, and maintain web applications and services across the full stack.
   • Develop both front-end and back-end components following industry best practices.
   • Architect scalable systems that can handle increasing user demand and business needs.

2. Database Management:

   • Design, implement, and manage databases using MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
   • Optimize for performance, security, and data consistency.
   • Ensure smooth data flow, maintain backups, and troubleshoot issues effectively.

3. Work with Apache Airflow:

   • Design, build, and maintain workflows, Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs), and operators for Apache Airflow.
   • Integrate workflows with other systems and platforms.
   • Ensure the reliability and efficiency of automated processes.

4. Linux & Server Administration:

   • Administer and maintain Linux-based systems (Ubuntu).
   • Configure and monitor server environments to ensure high performance, availability, and security.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, applying patches and updates as necessary.

5. Documentation:

   • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, API guides, and internal workflows.
   • Ensure thorough documentation of all code changes and system configurations for future reference.

6. Collaboration & Communication:

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
   • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
   • Regularly communicate with stakeholders to provide status updates and align on project goals.

7. Continuous Learning & Improvement:

   • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, development methodologies, and best practices.
   • Contribute ideas for process and technology improvements to enhance system efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Python, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow management.
  • Solid understanding of system design principles and best practices.
  • Experience working with Linux (Ubuntu) system administration.
  • Familiarity with AWS DevOps practices and tools.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles and technologies.
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks and libraries is a plus (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
