Project Support Specialist

Title: Project Support Specialist
Location: Earth City, MO
Duration: 12 month contract
Compensation: up to $55 per hour

Job Description:

• User Story documentation
• Create user stories based on the information discussed in the cross functional team meetings
• Collaborate with the Feature Lead to ensure user story content accuracy
• Collaborate with the BA to ensure user story completeness and best practices
• Update user stories, as needed in ADO
• Create documentation to frame the request for user story build approval (Word document, Visio)
• Create documentation reflecting the future state design based on the user stories (Word document, Viso)
• Testing
• Collaborate with the feature lead to understand the purpose of the testing phase, timeline, tools, and any constraints
• Perform various types of testing, documenting the results of the tests
• Collaborate with IT QA to answer questions when they are testing
• Ensure validity raised defects
• Business Partner Discussions
• Participate in cross functional preparation meetings with the feature lead and business partners
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure user stories correctly capture requirements
• Collaborate with business partners during testing to understand impact of defects
• Share information with and support business partners during phases of testing where they participate

Skills -

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize complex information.
• Proficiency in technical writing and documentation principles.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint
• Understanding of markup languages such as JSON for API documentation.
• Experience using a Data Governance platform (Collibra, Purview, etc) preferred.
• Experience with Data Governance principles preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and master new applications, platforms, systems.
• Basic understanding of programming languages (SQL and MySQL) and API functionality.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High level of curiosity with the ability to operate in ambiguity.
• Analytical: Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and break down complex information into accessible concepts appropriate to the audience.
