Title: Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Senior Manager, Software Engineering
Skillset / Experience:
Responsible for the establishment of enterprise middleware and Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) platform; responsible for driving the implementation of a standardized middleware platform including monitoring, alerting, observability, high-availability, and disaster recovery (DR).
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
• Establish and lead the team responsible for seamlessly connecting and integrating enterprise applications, data, and processes.
• Lead the development and support of enterprise middleware components and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a modern, secure, performant, reliable and cost-effective middleware environment.
• Accelerate integration of third-party software solutions, including Oracle EBS and Salesforce.com.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Leverage Agile delivery practices to design, deliver and support enterprise software components.
• Establish, measure, and report relevant Service Level Objectives (SLO) and KPIs for software services.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance through code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to develop and enforce best practices for software development including coding standards, testing practices, and deployment processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our solutions at the forefront of innovation.

Nature and Scope
- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
- Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally, 7 years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
