Strategic Account Manager

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing one major account, leveraging your strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and deep understanding of our client's needs to drive business success. This is a very exciting opportunity to join our Strategic Accounts Team, who support our top three largest accounts in the business.

This role is REMOTE, with the expectation that the SAM will be onsite a the client site 3 days for client meetings.

Must be local / within a commutable distance to Menlo Park, CA.

What we are looking for in a candidate :

  • 2-5 years of experience in strategic account management, preferably selling IT Staffing Solutions / Managed Services in the San Jose, CA market.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing major accounts, exceeding sales targets, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Here’s what to expect in this role :

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the major account to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Determines the major initiatives at the client and where the spending will occur over the next 24 months.
  • Engages with client executives in planning stage to build out managed solutions.
  • Builds out territory plans to include 150 buyers of our services along with the opportunity to create hiring plan for the account.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the major account, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including the delivery team, to develop and execute strategic account plans that align with the client's goals and objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the major account and work proactively to expand the scope of services provided by INSPYR Solutions.
  • Monitor account performance and financial metrics, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates to the client and internal stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and action plans.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, seeking feedback from the client and internal teams to enhance service delivery and drive value.
