Description :
This is a testing Scientist position working in the Environmental Microbiology section of the Public Health Lab. Please submit college transcripts with your application. This is a position under clinical testing and requires the following educational background :
- 16 hours Biology course
- 16 hours Chemistry courses
- 3 hours Pre-science Math
- 12 hours of Specific Biology.
PCR testing experience is preferred.
Under immediate supervision, this position involves routine laboratory work of moderate difficulty related to microbiological and molecular testing, with the opportunity to perform additional tasks as required. Duties may include first-level troubleshooting, providing guidance to entry-level staff, and performing tasks of moderate difficulty.
