Position Title: Dietitian (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Location: Fulton State Hospital, Fulton, MO
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week) and Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Contract Duration: 6 months to 1 year with possible extension
Orientation: Four days of New Employee Orientation (NEO)
Position Overview:
Fulton State Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Dietitian and a Part-Time Dietitian to join our medical team. The full-time position is expected to work 40 hours per week, while the part-time position will work 20 hours per week. Both positions offer flexible hours to accommodate your schedule. You will be responsible for providing professional dietary services to patients in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans.
- Provide counseling on nutrition-related issues to patients and staff.
- Work closely with medical teams to develop nutrition interventions.
- Conduct nutritional assessments and record findings in patient charts.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant dietary and healthcare regulations.
- Maintain a professional and supportive environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification and licensed in the state of Missouri.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of dietary regulations and best practices in clinical nutrition.
Additional Information:
- Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week with flexible hours.
- Part-Time Position: 20 hours per week with flexible hours.
- Interviews will be conducted via phone or in person.
- The anticipated duration of this position is 6 months to 1 year, with the potential for extension.
- A four-day New Employee Orientation (NEO) is required at the beginning of the assignment.
