Position: Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (
Shift: Days, 40 hours)

Job Overview:
The Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer provides diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting. This role includes clerical duties and requires performing exams independently in line with KPNW Mission and philosophy.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Education:
- Minimum of two (2) years in an AMA-approved program, successful completion of one year of Ultrasound training and certification, OR
- Two (2) years in Allied Health with successful completion and certification of a two-year ARDMS program, OR
- Completion of an AMA-accredited Ultrasound program, ARDMS registered or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification (new grads within 1 year of hire for registration).
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License/Certification:
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certificate within 12 months of hire (from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers).
- Sonography Technologist License (Oregon).
- Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire.
- Completion of a formal training program.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Pediatric Echosonography.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and judgment skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55.37 - $70.00 per hour
