What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Operations Manager position at Instawork?
We're hiring a smart, nimble Field Operations Manager to incubate emerging categories for Instawork, help them graduate from infancy to a mature state, and iterate on a playbook to allow Instawork to accelerate growth in emerging categories quickly. In this role, you will be based in and/or regularly travel to markets relevant to the key accounts in the category and perform critical on-the-ground activities. We want you obsessed about the health of the category! Frequent travel is necessary, which could include short-term relocation.This is a highly customer-facing role (both Partners and Pros), as you will be the face of Instawork. You must be willing to do things that don't scale and also effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization to drive key account success in the categories you lead.
What You’ll Do
- Drive key account success by overseeing pro supply reliability, ensuring high-quality work products, and managing scalable in-market operations and field relationships with local managers
- Working cross-functionally with Account Managers supporting the key accounts in the category and ensure Instawork maximizes share of wallet with these key accounts by performing activities such as regular onsite visits
- Managing our clients core KPI’s and reporting on them weekly.
- Building a playbook specific to partners within the category.
- This role will involve frequent travel and require some weekend availability
Who You Are
- 2-5 years experience in management consulting, investment banking, technology, and/or relevant experience in staffing
- Has a passion to talk to and delight customers
- Can thrive in ambiguity and be a self-starter
- Is detail-oriented, with a strong passion for problem-solving
- Is excited to work in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with making decisions in ambiguity, and has a strong bias for action
- Understands the common metrics used in the internet industry along with business growth metrics such as retention, churn, etc.
- Excel with spreadsheets
- Able to & excited for temporary relocation to help accelerate your category
For TX-based applicants:
- The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000
- This position is eligible for equity in the form of stock options
