Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on testing processes.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing features.
- Perform both manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and provide suggestions for improvements in the development process.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation related to test results and defect reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software development.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks as an advantage.
