The mission of the Business Operations team is to create strategic clarity and alignment to accelerate Instawork’s growth. Work will cover the following three areas:

Strategic planning & goal-setting: Define and track essential KPIs and metrics for the GTM team to gain a comprehensive understanding of our go-to-market performance. Stay informed about key trends and conduct analyses to uncover new insights that support strategic decision-making.

Execution of data-driven initiatives: Leverage strong SQL expertise to address critical questions about our market and growth opportunities. Lead complex, SQL-driven projects that enhance our operational efficiency and scalability. Spearhead the development of new initiatives from the ground up, using analytical insights to guide projects that lack clear ownership.

Ownership of reporting and analytics. Create and distribute regular reports and dashboards to key stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Leverage advanced analytics techniques to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business growth and improvement.

As a Revenue Operations and Analytics Associate, your role will range from conducting research that identifies and evaluates key strategic trends in the industry to developing a single point of view on how we operate the business. This will require both driving data-informed decisions and leading in the execution upon them across both the sales and operations. The insights that you uncover and the recommendations that you will propose will range from strategic to tactical, ultimately influencing how Instawork executes every day and invests in growth across the organization.  This role will report to the Senior Manager of Business Operations, and will partner closely with various stakeholders including but not limited to Sales and Account Management. 

What You'll Do:

  • Define and track essential KPIs and metrics for the go-to-market (GTM) team
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to address key business questions and uncover growth opportunities
  • Support customer reporting needs for key stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Use advanced analytics techniques to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business growth and improvement
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders groups to execute strategic initiatives
  • Uncover insights and propose recommendations that range from strategic to tactical, ultimately influencing Instawork's execution and growth strategies

What We're Looking For:

  • 3 years experience in business operations / strategy & operations, management consulting, investment banking, and/or technology
  • Strong data and analytics skills, including fluency in Excel / Google Sheets, SQL, and BI / data visualization tools
  • Strong cross-functional and executive communication skills, including a proven ability to influence without authority and build strong working relationships with business partners
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter that thrives in a fast-moving environment and are capable of independently seeking information, marshaling resources, and delivering results without waiting for direction
  • Strategic thinker who is able to zoom out to the big picture while also understanding the nitty-gritty of execution, set key business goals and milestones, and then work relentlessly to realize that strategy

For IL-based applicants:

  • The base salary for this position is $100,000 - $120,000
  • This position is eligible for equity in the form of stock options

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above.
