Join Our Team as a Part Time Accounting Clerk! Instep Federal Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to support our accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform GL and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
• Monitor daily GL activity and research out-of-balance discrepancies.
• Balance and verify daily G/L transactions and prepare journal entries.
• Process Federal Reserve return items and handle EFT disputes & government reclamations.
• Review, code, and process invoices for payment.
• Assist with Visa credit card operations and provide backup for various back-office duties.
• Support accounting audits by working with internal teams and CPA firms.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO or supervisor.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 Years experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and financial transactions is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
