**Open flexibility is needed, including weekends based on client needs and schedule
(Saturdays are a MUST)
**Reporting office is in Culver City, CA*
Our Senior Community Support Companions provide one-to-one intensive training based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in the home or in community to adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, or other developmental delays, and to assist them in developing the skills necessary to be integrated into community settings.

Responsibilities:
- Direct intervention with person served/family
- Keep accurate client records
- Maintain accurate administrative records
- Drive between sites
Requirements:
- Minimum: 2 years in-field and/or Residential experience
- Availability needed: Open Availability, Required: Saturdays
- On-call coverage needed
- Required: DSP 1 & 2 certification
- Passion and enthusiasm for assisting adults with I/DD
- At least 1 year supervisory experience
- Dedication and commitment to working daily with our clients at home or in the community
- Reliable transportation & proof of auto insurance
- Comfortable driving clients in vehicle and taking public transportation
- Comfortable managing behaviors
- Experience in report writing, SIRs
Preferred education and experience:
- Prior job-related experience with Applied Behavior Analysis working with adults with autism or other developmentally delaying disorders (preferred)
- Preferred experience: Supported Living Services (SLS) or ILS (Independent Living Services), Direct Support Professionals (DSP)
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, child development, or a related field
- Ability to adapt to a variety of situations and to remain calm under stress
