Role Description
We are seeking part-time or full-time on-site in-office role for an Occupational or Hand Therapist at the Institute for Hand & Arm Surgery. The therapist will be responsible for providing occupational therapy, rehabilitation, and custom orthosis fabrication for hand, arm, shoulder, and peripheral nerve conditions. Direct mentorship will be provided by two hand surgeons.
Qualifications
- Occupational therapy (OT) or certified hand therapy (CHT) certification.
- Rehabilitation skills
- Experience in custom splint/orthotic fabrication
- Strong communication skills
- Medical knowledge and expertise
- Previous experience in hand therapy is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
