Summary & Responsibilities
The IHRS is currently seeking a maintenance technician. The maintenance technician is responsible for the general upkeep of the agency’s 24 group homes. This part-time position, with a possibility of full-time employment, contains responsibilities that include but are not limited to routine inspections; maintaining and installing household equipment; assembly of required items; responding to service calls; painting and patch work; carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical skills are preferred.
The position pays between $30 and $35/hour based on experience.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 5 years of recent trade experience that includes electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and other maintenance and repair skills
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
