What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator position at Institute for Refractive & Intraocular Surgery (IRIS)?
The Surgery Center Administrator will directly impact patient care by working effectively with the team of doctors, nurses, care coordinators, medical and billing department as the front-line leader in an ambulatory care setting. This unique position will perform both Business and Nursing Administration oversight. The candidate will oversee all daily operations of the business to include the planning, organizing, directing, and staffing of the operations.

6:45-5:00pm- hours may vary based on buisness need

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree required (in a health care discipline preferred); MBA or MHA is preferred
- 4 years of business operations experience in progressive levels of responsibility required- in a health care facility required.
- Certified Ambulatory Surgical Center (CASC) preferred
- Strong financial background with previous experience in physician office billing systems, accounts payable, general ledger, tax reporting, and budgeting.
- Strong working knowledge of State Licensure requirements and other compliance regulations including Joint Commission, AAAHC, and HIPAA standards.
- Knowledge of Medicaid / Medicare Services and licensure requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership, competencies and management skills for the position, including excellent communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, results orientation, team building, motivating employees, performance management and decision making.
