Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our fast paced healthcare team. The Medical Scribe will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. This position with also include traditional medical assistant duties such as assisting physician with patient care.
Duties
- Accurately transcribe patient interactions, including medical history, physical examinations, and treatment plans during consultations.
- Document relevant medical information in electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure comprehensive and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure all necessary information is captured during patient visits.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
- Assist with the organization of medical records and ensure proper documentation practices are followed.
- Stay informed about medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance documentation accuracy.
Experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology and systems is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of medical records management and documentation practices is preferred.
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail are critical for maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience as a medical scribe is required

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
