Summary/Objective
The Sr. Sponsorship and Advertising Sales Rep is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that identify, drive, and result in achieving and increasing revenue targets. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to identify and anticipate all advertising and sponsorship needs while creating customized, strategic programs from IFTs vast line of products and services. Through a commitment to excellence, the Sr. Sponsorship and Advertising Sales Rep will use their influential communication and active listening skills to prospect new business and expand markets while supporting customer relationships and brand loyalty.
Essential Responsibilities
Leverages excellent organizational skills and knowledge of how to leverage the CRM to fully manage client portfolio as well as develop, maintain, and properly nurture sale pipeline
Builds and maintains effective sales plans, pipelines, forecasts, and accurate records of all client interactions in CRM
Develops and manages business relationships with key individuals, top decision makers, and executive level at clients companies and agencies
Manages, supports, and services assigned clients and accounts within assigned territory; oversee the customer experience with the IFT brand
Builds brand loyalty through high responsiveness to prospect and customer needs throughout all stages of the business relationship
Gathers and analyzes client information and industry specific data to create client specific recommendations for improvement and offers solutions to challenges/issues
Meets daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals that are the building blocks of revenue goals
Develops and delivers sales packages and presentations for clients and prospects that meet the clients business objectives
Leverages the full portfolio of our product offerings to build customized solutions for companies in all areas of their partnership with IFT
Collaborates with internal teams to identify operational areas for improved customer experience
Maintains knowledge in developing trends and technologies in the industry
Responsibly handles and submits travel and entertainment planning and expenses in a timely manner
Ensures compliance with industry and legal regulations and best practices, and adherence to company processes and procedures
Travel Required
Occasional domestic travel is expected including the ability to attend occasional evening, weekend, and overnight meetings
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, related field or equivalent
7 years demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding multi-channel revenue targets and activity quotas
7 years experience in developing sales plans and packages that include a portfolio of print, online, sponsorship experiences, association programs, etc.
7 years use of Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs
7 years experience with CRM tools and excel
Preferred Experience
Experience and knowledge of the food ingredients business
LinkedIn sales navigator experience
Hubspot and ZoomInfo experience
Other Duties
This position, and all others at IFT, may be modified at any time. To ensure operational efficiency and meet the changing needs of our customers and our Business, other duties may be assigned as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $90,000 To 105,000 Per Year (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
