Our group practice is looking for a caring mental health therapist dedicated to providing the best possible therapeutic service to our patients. You'll be in charge of doing diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans with goals and objectives, offering crisis intervention when needed, and following up with patients to ensure they're getting the best care possible. The ideal applicant will have 1-3 years of clinical experience treating mental health patients and a current LMFT, AMFT and or ASW license. Responsibilities
- Passionate about providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, children, and teens.
- Ability to complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for ongoing cases.
- Capability to work independently while being open to learning the business and marketing side of being a therapist.
- Skills to provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing mental health services to clients.
- Minimum requirement of 15 clients per week for part-time, and a minimum of 25 clients per week for full-time positions, both including the ability to run groups.
- A good sense of humor and team player attitude.
- Registered and in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
- Dependable, punctual, reliable, and professional.
- Minimum 1-year commitment, with the potential to continue as a licensed clinician with the Institute of Mindful Therapy.
- Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient
- Offer community resources or specialists to patients and family members who are experiencing difficulties
- Assess patients' mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members
- Reassess patient situations and provide appropriate follow-up care based on their current needs
- Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs
Qualifications
Masters degree in counseling or equivalent
