We're looking for the right candidate to join us as our part-time Foundation Program Coordinator. In this exciting role, you'll showcase your passion for being detailed oriented and love for meeting deadlines by overseeing the day-to-day tasks of the IREM Foundation Scholarship Program and other programmatic efforts.
Some specific responsibilities include:
- Processing scholarship applications and course registrations; running reports in data management software on scholarship funding and program metrics.
- Answering Foundation phone calls and replying to inquiries regarding scholarship and grant information.
- Supporting the Foundation’s scholarship and grant committee: tracking IREM grant applications, approvals, and outcomes.
- Processing applications for awards and grants.
- Assisting Board of Directors and Foundation HQ team by scheduling meetings, gathering exhibits, and distributing agendas and compiling metrics and reports for Board of Directors “dashboard.”
- Maintaining volunteer information in database and board support software.
- Assisting with content creation for program related donor communications.
- Supporting program related events and initiatives.
Work schedule
This role offers a flexible Monday thru Friday schedule working approximately 20 hours/week during normal business hours (during the day). Although the person stepping into this role can regularly work 100% remote, there may be occasions when we'd like you to join us in our office. For this reason, we can only consider candidates who reside in the Chicagoland area.

To be considered for this position, we require an Associate degree or at least two years of experience working in an office environment showcasing your data entry skills and/or customer service mindset.
