Job Title: Associate Director of Nursing

Definition
We are seeking a dedicated, highly organized, and experienced nursing leader to join our Vocational Nursing School Program as the Associate Director of Nursing. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the nursing program. Duties include: Ensuring adherence to the nursing curriculum, ensuring program compliance with accreditation standards, and mentoring and supporting both faculty and students. The Associate Director will work closely with the Corporate Director of Nursing and other faculty members to uphold the academic integrity and reputation of the program, fostering a positive learning environment that prepares future nurses for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Corporate Director of Nursing, Campus President, and Director of Education to manage and lead the Vocational Nursing Program.
- Assist in developing, evaluating, and revising the curriculum to meet accreditation and industry standards.
- Ensure the program complies with state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and internal policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing faculty, assisting with course development, student assessments, and teaching methods.
- Mentor students, offer academic advising, and provide support to promote student success and retention.
- Coordinate faculty recruitment, training, and evaluation to ensure a high standard of instruction.
- Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for the nursing program.
- Facilitate clinical placement for students and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities.
- Ensure the program stays current with trends and advancements in nursing education and practice.
- Participate in institutional meetings, committees, and strategic planning initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Active, unencumbered RN license in California
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or educational role.
- Experience teaching in a nursing program or working in nursing education is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of accreditation standards (ACCSC).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop faculty and students.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $102,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
