What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychological Liaison position at Institutes of Health?
Now Hiring: Psychological Liaison – The Ultimate Support System for Our Psych Team and Patients!

Our collaborative, evidence-based approach integrates psychology, medicine, and rehabilitation to create holistic treatment solutions that address the root causes of psychological distress.
Are you the kind of person who loves keeping things organized, making life easier for others, and ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine? Do you have a knack for handling details, keeping schedules in check, and making sure paperwork doesn’t get lost in the abyss? If so, we’ve got the perfect role for you!
IOH is looking for a Psychological Liaison to be the behind-the-scenes superhero of our psychological services team. In this role, you’ll be the glue that holds everything together—coordinating schedules, managing authorizations, helping patients navigate the process, and making sure our providers have everything they need to focus on what they do best: helping people.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Authorization Management – Make sure all patient authorizations are in order so providers can focus on care, not paperwork.
- Scheduling & Patient Coordination – Ensure patients are booked properly, prepped, and ready to go for their psychological evaluations.
- Tech Support Extraordinaire – Help patients access virtual platforms (because we all know technology can be tricky sometimes).
- Documentation and Data Management – Keep patient records accurate, up-to-date, and make sure all the necessary forms and evaluations are in place.
- Provider Sidekick – Assist our psychological providers with key administrative tasks, keeping their workflow smooth and stress-free.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in worker’s compensation and/or medical/psychology settings preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Proficiency in managing authorizations and insurance-related processes.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and provider coordination.
- Comfortable assisting patients with technical troubleshooting related to virtual appointments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with behavioral health providers, case managers, and administrative staff.
- Bilingual - Spanish is a plus.
Why Join IOH?
- Make a real impact – Your work directly improves the patient experience and helps our psychological team do their best work.
- Growth opportunities – We value professional development and love to see our team members thrive!
- A supportive and dynamic team – You’ll be part of a workplace that values teamwork, innovation, and positive energy.
