Job Overview
We are seeking Sheet Metal Workers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a background in metal fabrication and machining, with the ability to work with various tools and equipment. This role is essential in producing high-quality metal components that meet industry standards and specifications.
Duties
- Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate metal components.
- Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to specifications.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Duties will include anything from shearing material to final assembly of the product.
- Training is available for an individual willing and wanting to start a carreer in this industry.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to metalworking processes and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Competent in operating press brake machines for bending operations.
- Proficient in Tig welding.
- Experience with plasma cutting.
- Knowledge of tooling requirements for different metalworking tasks.
- Ability to work alone as well as with others.
- Overtime required
- All skills above are not absolutely required if there is a willingness to be trained by the candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.69 - $26.90 per hour
