Description

Instrotek is a growing company currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager, to oversee and manage the financial and accounting functions of the company . This position's responsibilities include the day to day activities of the accounting department, financial reporting and record-keeping, accounts reconciliation, cash management, across AR and AP, leadership and management of the accounting team. This position requires a hands-on individual who is fully involved with all the day-to-day financial and accounting functions of the company.

We are a manufacturer of innovative products with a strong R&D, sales and service teams located in RTP, NC. Our products are used worldwide for quality control and inspection. To qualify for this position, we require the candidate to have a BS degree in accounting, finance or equivalent, with five plus years of experience in a financial managerial role. Experience with ERP programs and familiarity with organizations conducting engineering, manufacturing and sales is a key requirement. This is a 100% on-site position.

Primary Responsibilities :

• hands-on and day-to-day manager focused on developing and leading their team to success
• Day-to-day oversight and hands-on involvement with all financial and accounting functions
• Create and enforce internal accounting and financial policies
• Manage the process and third-party Tax advisors regarding the company's annual audit and tax filings
• In-depth financial analysis and creation of financial reports, financial statements, and other required financial reports
• Execute month-end closings, controls, cost accounting, audits, and financial reporting
• Work with other company leaders and executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process
• Lead the accounting team with continued professional development, one on one coaching, and effective accountability
• Other accounting and financial related tasks, projects, assignments as needed and requested
