The Deputy Chief of Staff of Instructional Empowerment has the ultimate responsibility for the successful execution of strategies set by the company founder, Chief Executive Officer.
That responsibility requires the Deputy to have an in-depth understanding, not only of the scope of work implemented in our partner schools, but also of the structural, philosophical and cultural foundations of Instructional Empowerment. One critical component of those foundations is our focus on continuous growth of partner schools as advocates for the work. That means the internal divisions must continually focus on the expected outcomes. It is the job of the Deputy Chief of Staff to support the work by providing leadership for results to the Division leaders.
Part of that leadership is the expectation for high level clear communications about any changes, adjustments or maintenance planning for the product lines or other enterprise systems. Information also must come to the Deputy and they should be responsive to inquiries / concerns of the executive leadership in a manner that retains the forward movement of IE’s mission.
The Deputy Chief of Staff must be a creative and results driven thinker, an excellent problem solver and possess incredible interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and act as the central contact for all business communications. The right candidate is an energetic leader with a positive attitude and a go-getter drive.
This is a full time position in the West Palm Beach, Florida office
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the Executive Leadership team to maintain a future focus perspective.
- On behalf of CEO, meet with department and divisional teams to drive strategic priorities and monitor business metrics of the expected outcomes and impact.
- Provide summary data to CEO for planning and decision making.
- Prepare agendas / materials and collaborate with divisional leaders to prepare for divisional workouts on behalf of CEO
- Monitor the progress of action items from CEO workouts.
- Work with division / department leaders for execution of new or significant strategic initiatives launched by the CEO and hold owners accountable for the outcome.
