2. Responsibilities
Perform calibration/maintenance activities autonomously and as part of a team
Develop and maintain competence to perform calibrations following a procedure
Monitor and/or recognize suitability of environmental conditions during calibration activities
Monitor and/or recognize suitability of standards used in calibrations
Follow OSHA guidelines as dictated by jobsite requirements
Conduct independent research as needed
Develop critical thinking and effective troubleshooting skills/techniques
Develop and exercise good customer relations skills
Maintain high quality of work standards
Understand and comply with cGMP, 17025, or other standardized practices as required
Perform work under close supervision to demonstrate competency under audit conditions
Exercise good housekeeping practices; maintain an orderly, organized, and safe workspace
Maintain competence working with local CMMS commensurate to working skill level
Identify and document/catalog instrumentation pursuant to organization practices
Communicate with customer and organizational administration concerning customer requests, concerns, and requirements to include documented evidence
Actively pursue professional/technical development
Assist in training/development of colleagues
3. Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 50 lb
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Current license and clean driving record for 3 years
Ability to climb, crouch, or crawl and safely utilize full upper body range of motion
Good written and verbal communication skills
General familiarity working with Microsoft Windows
Ability to display professional demeanor in all work environments
Ability to pass drug and/or alcohol screening upon request
Ability to travel as required for job responsibilities
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to take direction and learn from feedback
Self-motivated work habits
Established proficiency in 3 disciplines to include Industrial Process branch
4. Education, Training, and Experience
Technical AS/AAS degree, 2-year technical school, or PMEL/TMDE military training AND 1 years of experience in calibration, instrumentation maintenance or related technical field OR
High School diploma or GED equivalent AND 3 years of experience in calibration, instrumentation maintenance or related technical field
