What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Scheduler position at Insulation Specialists of Tulsa?
· Maintain EPC schedule templates
· Follow established procedures and work instructions
· Learn and understand project scope and objectives- review project execution plan, supporting documents, drawings & estimates
· Develop project schedules utilizing the critical path method.
· Input schedule into current project scheduling software- Primavera P6
· Resource load schedule activities in Primavera P6
· Obtain input from all project team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and client
· Facilitate review of project schedule by all stakeholders and establish schedule baseline
· Update the schedule regularly, accurately, and timely
· Provide timely schedule analysis and reporting to support the project team
· Evaluating schedule alternatives to support project changes/ deficiencies
· Providing schedule-based resource forecasting
· Assist Project Manager in managing resources
· Works with team, including engineering, fabrication shops, and field construction, to accomplish program goals
Minimum requirements for position:
· Two years experience in project controls roles preferably with oil & gas EPC companies
· Communicates well, verbal and written
· Ability to read engineering drawings/ documents and understands oil & gas EPC work
· Ability to read and understand an EPC estimate
· Is user in Primavera P6 software including resource loading & report generation
· Proficient in Excel
· Experienced in analyzing schedules and recommending corrective action
