Position Overview
- The Quality Engineering team is focused on supporting Insulet’s manufacturing operations from a quality perspective in Insulet’s new state of the art high speed automated manufacturing facility in Acton, MA.
- The role provides support to Insulet’s Quality Operation processes including non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions, Process Change Order Assessment (PCOA) and resolution of manufacturing quality related issues, as assigned.
- This candidate works closely with the engineering and other cross-functional teams to support failure root cause analysis, equipment validation, and process improvement.
- Typical tasks include hands-on lab testing, measurement, data analysis, protocol writing & execution, report writing, and prepare change orders
- Ideal candidate has experience and interest in quality assurance, manufacturing validation, lab testing and metrology
- Able to analyze large amounts of data to present clear, actionable information to the team
- Support ensuring compliance with applicable FDA, ISO 13485, and other applicable standards/regulations.
- Drive Quality Engineering process improvements with focus on Lean / Six-Sigma principles
- Assess and generate engineering studies and root cause analysis of product non-conformances
- Support execution of manufacturing validation activities (IQ/TMV/OQ/PQ)
- Prepare engineering change orders (ECO), QMS change orders (QCO), and document change order (DCO)
- Other responsibilities as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Enrolled as BS candidate in Engineering or similar field
- Data Analysis: Minitab, JMP, Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with others.
- Ability to organize and judge priorities.
