PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Other Duties May Be Assigned As Necessary.)
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for project teams, ensuring effective communication and information flow between team members, stakeholders, and management.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain project documentation, including ticketing (status, updates, requirements, artifacts), issue logs, meeting notes, and assist in creating status reports. Track progress and identify schedule risks.
- Resource Coordination: Understand the responsibilities of project team members, assist in coordinating resources, and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and organize project meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking, and follow-up on action items.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor defects, facilitate resolution, and escalate when required.
PRIMARY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant project coordinator experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of project management experience or related/comparable leadership role experience
- Experience with SDLC in a technical environment
- Experience in the healthcare/insurance industry preferred
- Proficiency with technology in general, project management tools such as Jira, and the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge in different contexts
- Think critically, identify issues, find the right questions, solve problems, and think creatively
- Degree of flexibility in colleague interactions and schedules
- Willingness to present to groups and run meetings when necessary
- Be positive and work well with people across business units and in IT
