Job Summary: The Admin Assistant/Receptionist is the first point of contact of visitors and employees to the office area. Responsible for handling front office reception duties, including a multi-line telephone system, in-person company inquiries and administrative assistance.

Primary Responsibilities
- Takes and delivers messages and/or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable. Retrieves messages from reception voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel.
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
- Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
- Greets and welcomes on-site visitors in a friendly and professional manner, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Insures all guests register by signing security visitor's log.
- Assists mail room with daily mail receipt and other duties as necessary
- Monitors visitor access and issues passes when required.
- Maintains necessary copy/scan/fax machines (i.e. maintenance needs, etc.)
- Supports the management of office supply storage
- Routes all office deliveries
- Assist with Employee Engagement Activities
- Back up support for Facility related tasks
- Provides administrative support to Executive staff, as needed.
- Assist the Human Resources Department with various duties when needed.
- Excellent telephone etiquette is required. Timely and professionally answer calls in a friendly manner.
- Typing ability a plus; PC experience a plus.
- Cooperative demeanor, the ability to get along well with management, associates, vendors, etc. is essential.
- Arrive to work and return from breaks and lunch as scheduled. Because of the nature of the job function (answering phone lines, reception, and front desk) punctuality and dependability are imperative.
- Honesty, as well as respect, for the company and its policies & procedures is crucial.
- Prior receptionist experience a must; clerical experience a plus.
- Monday to Friday
- 37 hour work week
